Sure. We need some information about your system and your Norton program.
What Norton program do you have and what version is it? (Version is in Help&Support > About)
What is your OS (XP / Vista) and what is your Service Pack (SP2 or SP1 etc)
Please download GMER from http://www.gmer.net and run the program. Select "Scan" and then "Save" the log. Do nothing else with the GMER program as it can harm your system if used incorrectly. Then attach the log file as a text file to a post here. The Add Attachments link is below the orange Post button. It will be reviewed for possible malware and we will get back to you. Again, thanks for your help in this.

Can you try this also. We need to see if one of them will give us a complete scan.
1. Download to your Desktop "RootRepeal.exe" from http://homepages.slingshot.co.nz/~crutches/RootRep
Start it, Click on the "Report" Tab
Select (tick) in the box that appears "Drivers", "Stealth Objects" and "Hidden Services" and click OK
After it scans click "Save Report" and save the report as a txt file. You can use Notepad to copy the info.
Please attach the log as a text file to a post here on the Norton User Forum. The Add Attachments link is below the orange Post button. Thanks for your assistance in this.

Due to the fact you can't get GMER to work, with the new Rootrepeal.
1. Click the "report" tab
2. Select all the boxes
3. Select your Hard Drive
4. Scan
5. On Completion save log.

Did you tick all the boxes, as the hidden/locked files are not there??
