Sorry, just read the post before this. If there is something unusual going on that can be remedied to prevent additional mishaps, I would very much appreciate the help as long as you have time.

Run OTL again to create another (updated) OTL.txt to create a script for the clenup of entries and files for leftovers and programs we used.

Happili on my comp somehow. Read a lot of people with the same problem.
Thought my Anti-virus caught it, but still getting redirects sometimes.
I've read a lot of posts from people on here with the same problem and they seem to find help, so I thought I'd ask as well.
Anything I can do to help let me know.

You should have your own thread as the cause can be different even if that is gone.
I realise the moderators have merged you, and they shouldn't have due to differences, this is not like when there is a thread about Norton won't update all of a sudden.
Maybe some employed by WSymantec need to go away and learn about Malware ![]()

Yes, I noticed that my thread had disappeared when I refreshed the page and by chance happened to notice new replies in this thread and clicked accordingly.
Would you recommend I start another new thread? Or would you be complacent with me continuing in this one?
If that is alright, I would not intend to hijack someone else's thread.

One thing I have noticed is be careful of downloading odd named email or pdf files (for instance 123.pdf)
Start OTL, under
opy and paste the custom script attached (include the : at the start of :OTL) and run the script. (Red Run Fix Button)
The output log, should be placed in the _OTL folder after.

I am not sure if you are addressing this to me or the thread owner. Are you wanting me to run OTL?

Sorry! I was out of town. Back now and will run scan you indicated. By the way, I create PDF maps to put into reports for work and name them 123.pdf and just save over them, so they are not being downloaded from an outside source.
