Hi-I have contracted the Happili virus. I have windows 7(64 bit) and use Internet Explorer. I also have Norton anti-virus, which is detecting no threats. I saw a few other thread in regards to this and ran the scans that were recommended by Quads. Now I don't know what to do next. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could look over them and help me. I am not very computer savy, please help?
Thanks,
Jennifer

Now you can click in OTL the black "CleanUP button and install Firefox anew if you like from Firefoxs website.

I never recommend to you to run the scans with the advanced tools.
I will not be dealing with this thread as a result, You may have to go to a Malware Removal site like Bleeping Computer.

I have not clue what that means. I didn't choose advanced anything. Thanks for your help though!

All done. I never used Firefox, only IE. Thank you so much for your help. I can't tell you how much faster I can work now without being redirected.

I have noticed Kamphaus5 thread has been merged with this larger users thread and it SHOULDN'T be.
It is a different infected system.

If they keep merging threads, I'm not sure if we'll be able to properly keep track of who's problem is being addressed.

It means you are not in the malware removal feild as they are not the same thing.
Differences of what is causing the redirect in question, (I have 4 so far at least) Different OS's different programs installed, different conflicts, Virtual ware etc. etc.
You have not fixed your malware thread yet.
