I know I had the happili virus, which seems to be gone... but I still cannot log into certain sites. Primarily ones for financial institutions. For example, I get directed to mfasa.chase.com, but nothing appears.
I ran tdsskiller, and it didn't find anything.
I've run aswMBR and saved the log. Can someone interpret it for me? Here is what I saved from the log. It did tell me I had a corrupt sector in my c:|programdata\norton\{0c5sc096-ofid-4f28-aaa2-852
Thanks in advance.
And please, if I've done something wrong or ask a dumb question, be kind. I'm trying to learn and save money from taking the laptop in.

Here is the log as an attached .txt file. I don't think the other formatting looks right.

Also, I have run Norton and the Power Eraser. Nothing appears.
Here is my tdsskiller log.

Did I post this incorrectly?
I've been following the thread on the happili virus, as I know I had that... but I really need help.

Welcome llnyc
The only dumb question is the one you do not ask. We are all here to help one another.
Maybe Quads will chime in here to help with your log files.
I'm wondering about a corrupt sector. Sounds like you need to run chkdsk on your hard drive.
Then do a full scan in safe mode. Make sure your NIS is fully up to date.

This is not a thread about AV products and their ability in tests but a thread by a user that has malware or did have Malware.
Oh and Norton rates above Comodo in tests as well it is a lot less hastle.

I'd like us to scan your machine with ESET OnlineScan
button.
to download the ESET Smart Installer. Save it to your desktop.
button.
and DON'T (NO) check Remove found threats
If you think a log should have been generated then go to C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET Online Scanner\log.txt to find it.
