What OS? What version of Norton? Have you tried to completely uninstall Norton using the removal tool? So what your saying is none of your system tray icons are there?

I got the 2008 version...before Weds. night everything was good..i was able to see icons in bottom right, the Norton with green check in the middle and in the tray the yellow circle with the black logo in the middle...now both are gone. I have not tried to uninstall the program yet.

Re: Help with Launching Norton and Icons

Well Norton 2009 has been out for a bit now. I highly recommend uninstalling 2008 and installing 2009. Did you just buy it?

No the upgrade is free. Your NIS2008 key will work [with NIS2009].

You can download from here : http://www.norton.com/nis09
