Norton recently identified Trojan.Patchep!sys on my system. I have done everything it told me to do but it now says that manual removal is required. Any help with this would be much appreciated. I am in way over my head. I am running Windows 7 (64 bit).
Thank you.

ANY other user other than the thread starter is not to use any instructions, scripts or proceedures, The work though in cleaning a system is individual and only for that system due to a number of factors.
Please do not run any tools unless instructed to do so.
1. Find
2. Break
3. Destroy
4. Cleanup (including system as a whole)
Please read every post completely before doing anything.

Is it possible to proceed without a flash drive or should I go purchase one? I am willing to do whatever necessary to get rid of these files. Thank you for your assistance.
