Three machines got the latest program update. They work without any problems including liveupdate. Two machines still haven't got the latest program update, strange because they are at the same location as the other three, and right now, they report Security content A and Definitions errors.

I'm getting ready to pull the plug on this small business license....

Same here. This is beginning to happen every few days - it's not good enough.

Norton 2009 Web Protection Definations: FAILED
Norton 2009 Virus Definitions X64: FAILED
Norton 2009 Symantec Security Content A: FAILED
Norton 2009 Streaming Virus Definitions: SUCCEEDED

Hi  Phil_D,

Rebooted a couple of times on both machines.

Switch the two machines off for at least 15 minutes.

Finaly deed a manual update. The only error that remaines, is the Security content A.

Again no error logs (vista & Nav 2009)

 Is there any way to solve the Security Content A  problem from this end?

It seems that for me the problem has been resolved on the two remaining pc's . Liveupdate just delivered a Security Content A update. Now waiting for the program update.
