Could you please clarify what you have at present.
Is is NAV2008 1PC or is it a 3PC version?
Do you have much longer to run on the NAV2008 subscription you have?
[Deleted incorrect statement -- I must read more slowly 8:( ]
If you let us know about this then we can take you through the various steps.

I need to extend my NAV 2008 subscription to a second computer and I can't find how to do this. Can anyone help please.
Just try it the normal way and it will either take it or not. If not, then ask us for help. And keep in mind that you get a free upgrade from NAV 2008 to NAV 2009 if you want it. (Product Upgrades)
Unless you mean you want to convert a one-machine subscription to a multi-machine subscription. For something like that, you need to talk to Symantec Customer Service.
BTW, what are you using for a firewall? If you are talking about putting the product on more than one machine, now would be the time to consider getting NIS 2009, which provides complete protection.

If you need this to be done immediately, the best option is to contact Customer Services. The Symantec technicians will assist you and completely help you out.

Not sure what you mean by "the normal way". A bit more info: I originally bought NAV 2006 on a CD and since then I've upgraded to NAV 2008, so I don't have a CD to put in my second computer. As far as using Symantec help is concerned the email link is broken. My firewall is free Zone Alarm; why is that relevant?
I did find a Symantec web page that allowed me to request an extension a few weeks ago but cannot find it again.

Can't you try the Chat from the link I have provided in my previous post(It's much faster)?
If you have the product key for the current NAV 2008, I think, you can install the latest version NAV 2009 in your second computer. If you are not sure about the product key, find it in your Norton Account.
