Hmmmm

Download Attachment XP_netsvcs.reg.txt 2 KB  and remame the file just XP_netsvcs.reg   so that means you take the .txt off the end then click to run it.

Then re run OTL

Re: How to remove Trojan Horse ZeroAccess

I saved the file as XP_netsvcs.reg but it will not run.  thinks that it is a text file and opens note pad.  I did remove the txt so the file name is XP_netsvcs.reg.

Start OTL,   under   Copy and paste the custom script attached which you open in for instance Notepad,(include the : at the start of :OTL and all the way to the end / bottom)  and run the script. (Red Run Fix Button)

The output log, should be placed in the _OTL folder after.

Re: How to remove Trojan Horse ZeroAccess

ok I ran OTL with the script.  It looks like it created a log file in note pad as my system rebooted and notepad was open with the log, i saved it to the desktop and attached it.

Re: How to remove Trojan Horse ZeroAccess

OK turn off System Restore for 1 hour  and then turn it back on and create a nice new restore point.

Then if everything is running nicely,   No Redirects etc.  Start OTL and click the Black CleanUp button.
