Norton Internet Security / Norton AntiVirus

Ok completed.  Norton seems to pop up and remove the program after, don't know if that is suppose to happen.  Has happened after I ran it before as well and I had to re-download it.  Did not see a log and system rebooted.

Clicking the CleanUp button does not give an output log.

Is the C:\ _OTL now gone??

I don't see any directoy with _OTL, program everything seems to be gone.

I know this may be a dead thread, if it is I'm sorry.... but I followed all this up to a point where I run Combofix.  I'm not sure what the combofix log means though.  Can anyone help me out?  If this is the wrong place to post such a question, could you kndly point me to the right place?  Thanks.

As Quads usually points out, his instructions are highly individualized and should not be used by anyone other than the original poster.  If you would like Quads to help I suggest starting a new thread and do NOTHING to your machine until you hear from Quads.  Please note that there have been a very high number of infections lately and it may take longer than usual for him to get to you.  Also, keep in mind that Quads is a volunteer on these boards.

1.  The user is on their own, using advanced programs on their own which is stupidity.

2.  The user does not have Symantec / Norton.
