I know I can submit an infected file via quarantine, but I have a slightly different need. I have two files. One has a Chinese filename, the other has an English filename. Other than that, they are identical. If the filename is English then on one PC (an XP machine) Malwarebytes detects a Trojan, but if the filename is Chinese then it doesn't. On another PC (Win 7, with Chinese language support) Maywarebytes detects the Trojan in both files. An email server in the UK (authsmtp) also detects it. Norton does not detect the Trojan in either file, on either PC.
I tried to attach both files to this post, but with no success. Maybe they are too large (about 785kb each)?
