Ok for some reason today the Norton told me that I had turned off my "Virus Protection", and my "firewall". So I went to turn them back on thinking. "How did they turn off?" I saw that not only that the "Virus protection" and the "firewall" was off. But the "Advanced firewall", "Intrusion Prevention", and the "Spyware Protection" was also off. So when I went to turn them back on. The Norton told me that my subscription had expired. And I can't click anything in the "Task & Scans", "Settings" and "Reports & Statistics" drop menus in the Internet Security tab. Now I clicked on the help & support link in the program. The automatic part dint fix it but I was able to find a fix in the "Step-by-Step Assistance" area for the subscription problem. But I'm still having problems with the rest. How do I go about fixing this? ![]()

The subscription is fixed.
And it has 318 days left.

Stu wrote:Have you tried a clean reinstall? Not yet.One question about that. The Norton that I bought is only licensed to one computer. Would I have to buy a new license if was to reinstall?
No
You can reinstall several times. Just uninstall through Control Panel or with the Norton Removal Tool. And than reinstall. Just to be sure I would write down my license number. But NIS is most likely saving it for you. So when you are reinstalling you don't even have to put in your number.
Please try and see if this works

It works! Thanks Stu. I just have one last problem. The "LiveUpdate" is unable to contact the servers for the update. How can I go about fixing this?
Edit: I also tried downloading the add-on pack but it won't even start the download for that too.
