Norton Internet Security / Norton AntiVirus

I purchased Norton Internet Security 2011 today and am trying to install it. It starts to initialize and just keeps running around and around and I cannot proceed. I need help to get past the initializing stage and finish the installation. Thanks...Bill

Can you give us a bit more info to fully understand your issue?

What security software did you have prior to Norton? Was it completely uninstalled?

Do you have any other security software currently installed?

Have you scanned your system for malware before attempting the installation?

Also, if you can tell us which operating system you are using along with the service pack, that would further help us with diagnosing your issue.
