I'm using COMODO firewall which also has defense+ (HIPS). Should I disable it, since I have Norton IPS turned on ?

I would say first yes as the two can have compatibility issues.

I can only suggest you to check what happens if both is running. If nothing than you can leave both turned on. But if you notice anything (eg. slowness of you net) you should turn off Comod's or Norton's IPS protection.
