Is Norton Internet Security effected by the recent Norton software hack as reported in the news? Should I remove Norton Internet Security and replace with an alternate protection software?

In my opinion, no. What was hacked was a 6 year old enterprise product. I am using the current commercial product (NIS 2012). I have no concern and don't plan on replacing Norton unless I hear different news.
