I am adding this post because I spent several "moments" trying to get such screens as the scan and liveupdate screens to open on my second monitor instead of the primary monitor.  Thought I would save other users some trial and error time. 

If your system has multiple monitors and you use DisplayFusion as the multi-monitor control software, you can make the various screens of NIS and NAV open on any selected monitor.  Note that all screens will open on the specified monitor. 

All you need to do is add file ccSvcHst.exe to the "Window Location" group in DisplayFusion's settings and specify which monitor to utilize.
