Keeping track of licenses on multiple machines

I own 3 copies of NIS 2012. Of course I have it installed on multiple machines.

How do I keep track of which licenses are tied to which machines.

I've re-tired a couple computers so I need to move the license over to the new computers

I went into NIS on the machine looking for the serial numbers or keys so how can I figure it out?

Thanks

Re: Keeping track of licenses on multiple machines

With 2012 I believe you can do this through an applet called Norton Management.

Open up your MyNortonAccount on line and log in with ID and Password then on the top menu bar click on Norton Apps and select Norton Management ....

I've not used it so if it's not clear please ask here or check to see if anyone has given more complete details.

You should be able to give PCs friendly names and also to retire and recover activations but if you have a problem with this latter then the Norton OnLine Support via the CHAT rourte as below will be able to do that easily for you.

To contact customer support Click on this link and work on from there. You may have to scroll down a little to see the CHAT button.

Feedback from users tells us that CHAT is by far the best at resolving problems.

Note that that link is to the USA/CAN website so if you are located elsewhere I'm sure you will be able to find the equivalent location on your local Symantec website; some pages have a link at the top right where you can select the country you are located in.

Please let us know how you get on ....
