Since you feel that you are having a problem with NIS 2012, I would recommend using the NRT along with the add/remove method to ensure a clean install of NIS 2011. I am not sure if the Identity Safe file from NIS 2012 can be restored to NIS 2011. However, you can still save it and see if any others had a problem with restoring from 2012 back to 2011. Thanks.

Thanks floplot for the information I would back up the I.D. Safe though I've heard many times it's not restored anyway, Well we'll see this constant update problem has me annoyed but I've had Norton for years I still think it's the best Security app available and I'll probably end up sticking with NIS 2012, I love the app when all is well.......Take Care and again Thanks, Gorpy1
