Nearly 2 hours have passed without any live updates. Any official explanation as to the problem would be appreciated...

Could it possibly be because there were no new updates to be sent? Unoffically mind you!

May be. But I thought there may be something wrong, because, as you must also know, there is usually a live update every few minutes

Those aren't Live Updates (those happens three times a day), but Pulse Updates. They are usually frequent, but it happens that hours pass in between, and there is nothing to worry about.

Hi,
Have you just installed the Norton product or for a long time? Please check if the Auto-Update Setting is turned on.
On the other hand, you can download the lastest update definition manually from the folowing URL:

UPDATE: 3 Hours and no Live Updates...

I have version 19.8.0.14 and I noticed that it says I haven't had any live updates for hours on two different computers, but when I look at Recent History I am still getting updates. Also if I click on Run Live Update I'm getting them, so there must be a problem with the notice part next to Run Li ve Update.

@Holly,
Thank you for the heads-up. I have the latest version as well, and noticed too that in the recent history, it appears I'm getting the updates also. So probably the user interface has a problem(?) I hope somebody at Norton notices and fixes it sooner rather than later...

As of 11:10 AM EDT it's working now ( showing that a Liveupdate was done when it was done).
