If anyone would like to send me a log, I can take a look. This might help narrow down the problem. 

 

After a LiveUpdate finishes with an error or other issue, make a note of the time, then make a copy of the log to a different location (to prevent the contents from being overwritten by later entries). The log should be at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7}\Norton\Lue\Logs\Lue.Log (XP) or C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7}\Norton\Lue\Logs\Lue.Log (Vista).

 

Then send me a PM and I can tell you where to upload it.

I was having the same problem last night.  The error is being caused because the server is returning 405 errors during the LiveUpdate check.  See this post over over in the LiveUpdate failing thread and the response from Reese Anschultz saying that the problem should now be fixed..
