I lost the envolop that has the product key. is there any way i can get the product key? i reinstall my os and forgot to get the product key. can norton help?

When you activated your Norton for the first time, the key would have been added to your Norton account.  If you go there, and click on your product, your key will be noted there.

Welcome to Norton Community!

If you had already installed NIS 2009, go ahead and check in your Norton Account. The Norton Account saves the Product key when you activate and register NIS 2009 for the first time. If you are unable to locate it in your Norton Account, then only you need to contact the Customer Services.

Another place you can look for your key is in My Documents where you should find a Symantec folder and inside that a file called Key.txt which contains the key and other information -- and you can just copy/paste from there into the Activation box without having to format the string!
