I went to Malwarebytes.com, to download the free version of their program. First I was redirected to Malwarebytes.org and when I clicked on Download the free version, I was redirected to the Bleepingcomputers site. The download now button was next to the $24.95 price tag. Is this still the place to go to download the free version?

The free version download link redirects to MajorGeeks for me. http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=5756

I wonder if they have some kind of rotating list -- just went to mwb.org and the Free Download button sent me to:

There is probably no problem with the link, I'm just leary when something unusual happens.

Yes, MalwareBytes does use multiple 3rd party sites from which to download the software.
Just be sure to download only the FREE version from whichever site you are directed to.
If anyone is more comfortable with it, the following is a link to MalwareBytes from CNET.
Best wishes.

Hello
Having different sites available when you click on their site helps to keep the malware writers from blocking their site.
You can find Malwarebytes here
http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_ant
It is a safer location to get the program from than malwarebytes themselves because some malware creators have large lists of sites that they block. Please be careful to down load the correct program ----the FREE version of MALWAREBYTES
(Thanks to Delph for providing the alternative site)
Success always occurs in private and failure in full view.
