I want to keep tabs on my kids use of the computer. I have tried to install a free version of a commercial product called Revealer Keylogger, which is tagged by Norton as a malicious program.  The software webpage is http://www.logixoft.com/revealer-keylogger-free-edition.html

I know that I could force NIS to trust the program, but I thought I should ask for community feedback on this issue.

Have you considered using a parental control program, such as the free Norton Online Family, rather than just a keylogger?  It would certainly provide you with a much more comprehensive solution to keeping your kids safe online.
