Moving NIS to another computer

Hi, I have never met such an impenetrable forum when it comes to setting a new post!

I have a 3 license copy of NIS 2011 [expiry October 2012] with all the licenses used on three different machines.

I have purchased a new PC and want to move an installation from my Laptop to my new PC so I uninstalled NIS on the laptop.

My account still show that three licenses are in use.

How do I get round this as I am unable to put my 3rd license on my PC ?

Welcome,

I know of two ways you can get your problem solved. If you have Norton Management installed you can eliminate the computer that is no longer in use to free up a license. Or you can contact customer support chat found here:

http://www.norton.com/chat and work iwht them to resolve the issue. They're good and it should be done quickly.

Hope this helps

Re: Moving NIS to another computer

Hello itsmagicvi817

The Norton Management that was mentioned in the previous post is only available on the 2012 versions of NIS and NAV. Therefore, please use the free chat method to get this problem cleared up.

.Please contact the free chat program by using this link.

http://www.norton.com/chat

Thanks

Please let us know if you are successful in getting your problem solved. Thanks.

Re: Moving NIS to another computer

Hi all. Thanks for the advice. I have just used the live chat system and the problem is resolved ( including a good-will gesture of an extra 30 days on my subscription!). This is why I have been a norton fan for a long time!!.
