Hi all, certainly hope you can help me by telling me,how i can turn of the auto function of 'optimize' in the Performance section of my NİS 2011. İ find that my NİS 2011 optimizes often,and would like instruction ,on how i can turn it off.
Would prefer to use the function manually.

HI mysoul
Open NIS, click on settings, then on miscellaneous settings and turn the Idle Time Optimizer setting to off. This will turn off the automatic running but you can still run it manually by clicking on Optimize in the performance window.

Hi mysoul,
Please be aware that if the Idle Time Optimizer has already started its task, turning off the feature will have no effect until the Optimizer completes what it has already begun. Once you have disabled it it will finish the current task and then not run again.

Glad you were aware of that. Many users are not, and after disabling the Optimizer, only to have it start up again when the system is idle, they tend to post back here - often with the Caps Lock key on. ![]()
