Re: NAV 2009 VERY slow email and ccsvchst.exe error

If disabling email scanning resolves the issue, then you can delete all the temporary files then re enable them, which will resolve your issue.

Re: NAV 2009 VERY slow e-mail and ccsvchst.exe error

johna,

Thanks.  Did step #1 registry edit and I no longer get the "End Program" window for ccSVChst on shutdown.

Re: NAV 2009 VERY slow e-mail and ccsvchst.exe error

Hi - I too get this error.  But not every time I shut down Windows XP.  This is directly related to watching embedded video links on websites.  I can watch X number of videos in various browser sessions but after that, they do not play any more; they play the first 2-3 seconds only, then endlessly buffer.  When I shut down/re-start my laptop at this point, I get the ccSvcHost.exe error.  Any other time I shut down my laptop - either without watching any internet videos at all, or after watching some but before the buffering problem, I do not get the error.

I am on Norton 2008 and my OS is Windows XP 2002 sp3.  I use Mozilla Firefox v5.0 as my browser.  Please note that once the video buffering problem starts, I cannot simply close all browsers and open a new one.  I must shutdown/restart.  Also please note that after the buffering problem starts, my Task Manager's Processes tab shows 3 ccSvcHost processes with very large sizes (before any buffering problem, all 3 processes are much smaller).

Please advise - thanks, Sharon.
