NAV not working

hi,

 

would like some help in the matter..i bought a version of NAV2010 at a store and it came with a cd drive. i installed it in my laptop and used the product key provided to register it...it worked fine initially for the couple of months until i noticed that the NAV icon wasnt in the desktop anymore until a couple of weeks ago..i checked the files and it was still installed, problem is when i go to the NAV icon and click on it is not working..i still have 260 days left on it and i cant run the live update nor can i scan any files..woulld anyone know if can could reinstall it again wihout paying for it?i dont want it to go to waste because theres still a lot of days in its protection..Thanks!

Since you have a valid subscription for your Norton product, you are eligible for the free update to the 2011 version. I suggest you to remove the current version and then download and install the 2011 version.

 

To remove the 2010 version, you need to download and run the Norton Removal Tool. You can download it from:

http://www.symantec.com/symnrt

 

After you run the Norton Removal Tool, you need to download and install the 2011 version from http://www.norton.com/nav11

 

The update is free of charge. Please make sure that you have the 2010 Product Key handy with you (you may not need it, as the 2011 version will automatically pick it up).
