NAV2008

Before I ask my question

I know I can upgrade to NAV2009, but I want to wait

Now my question

NAV2008 of course finds and removes Virus and spyware , but does it stop known virus and in particular spyware at point of contact?

Re: NAV2008

Yes it certainly does remove virus at the point of contact , infact at the point of entry only!!!!!!

For more information read instructions on box packet if you have the box pack or log on to symantec website

It is still there for 2008 , the features !!!!!!!

Yes it does. Otherwise there would be no use for the program would it

Re: NAV2008

I agree Stu. But arean't there "antivirus/spyware" products out there that just find it after the fact?

Of course that is why Norton is the TOPS!

Norton 09 is a significant improvment over 08. It includes a number of new proactive technologies to prevent malware from accessing your system in the first place. The most major one is the two-way firewall, which pcmag and cnet have rated as "excellent", to sum it up.
