Re: NAV2010 crashes Windows Media Player 11 by refusing access to ccsvchst.exe

Hello fellow Norton users,

I finally found the time to investigate a little bit more: After uninstalling NAV2010 the problem described in my previous post still persists!

With other words: NAV2010 is NOT the cause for crashing WMP11.

Now the tedious work of finding the cause still remains for me to do. :smileysad:

Thanks to everybody for their suggestions.

Best regards,

LittleAlf

Re: NAV2010 crashes Windows Media Player 11 by refusing access to ccsvchst.exe

The error is in the codec for the AVI file playback.  Try and find a different codec for AVI file playbacks.  You can find more information on the codecs and compressions used in the audio-video files in this Microsoft KB: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316992 .
