I was just curious what is the current status of this deployment?
I have 4 PCs. One received it the very first day that it was made available by Symantec before it was discontinued. The other three still have not received it despite that it is being redeployed over the last week.
Does anyone know what is going on? Did Symantec once again pull this patch?

As far as I know it has not been pulled again. It was a holiday weekend however. Perhaps they are getting ready to release it to all English NIS/NAV 2011 computers. Or perhaps the phased in manner of deployment might still be going on. When it is ready for deployment, I am sure that there will be some sort of announcement when it is ready to be given out to everyone. Thanks.
Success always occurs in private and failure in full view.

I think I am getting the update today- as my NIS is telling me that I need to reboot to receive the latest updates- I am assuming this will update me from my current 18.1 to 18.5.
My question is- are there any issues with this update this time??
The last time I had a reboot message from Norton, I did the reboot, and then I got the freeze up issue that hit a bunch of people, and had to endure several hours on the phone with tech support to get my PC running again (rolling back to 22.214.171.124)
So, I am just a little scared to do the reboot this time without first checking here.....

This reminds me of the Twilight Zone episode where the guy is afraid to go to sleep, since he knows that he will never wake up again.
Sooner or later, you will have to reboot.
