<< Given I have purchased NIS 2001 on my prime Windows 7 drive and the Comcast Norton Security Suite on my dual boot
Windows Vista, >>
I hope you mean NIS 2010 <g>
There is certainly no inherent reason I can think of. Do I understand correctly that you have a single computer dual booted with Windows 7 on one hard drive and VISTA on another Hard drive within the same box?
If so my previous computer that is operated in parallel (KVM switch) with my new one I had XP on HD 1, VISTA on HD 2 P1 and WIN7 32 on D2 P2 and WIN 7 64 on D2 P3 and at various times I have had NIS on WIN 7 and N360 (but not Comcast) on VISTA and/or WIN 7 64 without any BSODs
To the best of my knowledge Norton are working on the problem and the silence merely means they have not come up with a solution yet which is perhaps not surprising on something that is not universal.
