I have 176 days left on my NIS 2008 subscription.  I downloaded the 2009 upgrade.  I installed and activated the software on 2 PCs with no problem using my 2008 key.  When I installed 2009 on my 3d PC, when I tried to activate it I was told that I have exceeded the number of authorized activations for this product key.  So far, tech support has not been able to assist.  They say they have reset my account but it does not help.

So in short you have 3 machines in total?

And you want to install NIS 2009 on all three? I'm asking because it sounds like you download on one machine and trying to install on three others

I have three PCs total; 2 desktops and a laptop.  I installed and activated on one desktop and the laptop.  I cannot activate on the 2nd desktop.

Try to contact the Technical Support via Live Chat. Tell them in details what error you have seen. It is good if you can submit screenshots to them so that they know what should do to resolve the problem.

This can happen if the activation limit of your product key has exceeded. I suggest you to contact the customer support team by following the link Tech Support . They will be able to resolve it for you within a few minutes.
