Hi I read this thread and it was somewhat dated:

Does NIS2010 detect all known key loggers and will a full system scan detect it?
If not what does Norton recommend as an the program to download that will detect a key logger?

NIS protects against keyloggers (oh yes!) :-) You can see this over here, under "How It Works", if you expand the "Features" section:
