Hi Nortoners :) Im a newbie :D

I have a question about SONAR.

Some ppl said Norton 2010 products is now using SONAR 3, some other said only some features of SONAR 3 adopted to SONAR 2 while in the blog.. it is said that all Norton 2010 users will also benefit from this (what does this mean? > <)

Which one is correct? and how do we check if its SONAR 2 or 3 in the application?

Sonar is Symantec's approach to unknown virus. Nis08 nis09 came with Sonar 1. Nis10 came with an improved sonar version 2. Pretty sure only nis11 came with Sonar 3. I don't think there is a way to check what version of sonar the product is using, not that I know of. To be 100% sure you are using sonar 3, just upgrade to the latest 2011 product for free! I believe that Sonar 3 is being used now by N360 version 4 although that is considered as a 2010 product and the next version probably won't be out till next year in March or April 2011.
