Hi,
I'm upgrading my HP laptop from Vista/32 to W7/64 and am having problems adding the conexant audio drivers. HP isn't very helpful and hasn't yet provided signed drivers. I've found unsigned drivers that look like they will work, so I want to use this utility to test sign the drivers so they will load. There are other solutions, but this one seems the best since I can keep the W7/64 driver signing check in place and only change for selected drivers not the entire system.
Anyone else have a similar problem? Solution?
I guess I could configure NIS 2010 to allow. I did submit an email to support to see if NIS is reporting this as a false positive virus.
Thanks, Bruce

I'm trying to use this download at http://www.ngohq.com/home.php?page=dseo
After the download finishes, NIS has the following error message in history. I know I could remove the file from quarintine. have other NIS users done this?
The file insight message is
Deso12.exe (Suspicious.ADH)
This heuristic virus has been removed. No further action is necessary.

Short answer is I do not know. I personally would not run it. You could try submitting it to Symantec via quarantine or submit to various internet sites that will run various AV software against it.

On another computer I used McAfee to download without any issues, so I'm thinking this is a NIS false positive indication.
