Hi Calls,
did you notice any versionchange on the about window? 2012 did get an update in the last two weeks, it is possible I think that Symantec could manage to transfer some of those updates to the older versions as well, and this could cause a reboot required message for you.

All Good.
The first was an update to the product and it should have changed the version to 18.7.1.3. The second was an update to keep up to firefox.

Hi Calls:
Just to confirm bkennedy's post, my NIS 2011 was updated from v. 18.7.0.13 to to v. 18.7.1.3 and updated Norton extensions for the Firefox browser (presumably for the upcoming FF 12 release) were delivered today.

hey norton how about a update for norton 360 then so we can have some FF12 toolbar no far if NIS 18.7.1.13 gets it and norton 360 dos not

Snowstorm,
FF12 hasn't released yet which means we currently do not "support" FF12. We do support FF11.
The update noted in this thread was for firefox 11 to correct a patching issue. It was not for FF12.
The original poster was just asking about NIS so the version number given was directed at that. For N360 the update brings you up to 5.2.1.3 and the same FF updatethen applies to it as well, we didn't miss N360.
Hope that helps you understand.

thanks.
So if I only have IE8 as my browser with NIS 2011, my Norton tool bar should be-
2011.7.63?
Or
2011.7.5.1?
