I have NIS 2012 (and have had NIS for about 10 years) version 19.6.2.10.
The Norton Anti-Spam icon and feature disappears from the toolbar in Outlook Express 6.
How can I fix this?

These people have no idea on how to fix problems with their product. All you will get is the old run around. I have been dealing with this problem now for over a month. I have asked for my money back, but they don't want to do that. Let me see, I buy their product, it disappears and they don't know how to fix it. I paid for something I'm not getting. If this was an auto, I would have either had it repaired by now, or my money back. But not here. They come up with all kinds of crap to try and nothing works. Norton 360 with anti spam is worthless piece of crap, and they know it. Don't look here for any help because you will not get any. They will keep blaming your computer for any trouble with their products. Everything was fine till I downloaded some updates and then it starts to disappear. Wish I knew what update it was, but I don't. The case of the disappearing anti spam folder and no one here could care less. Very dissatisfied with norton and their tech service. There is no tech service. I just want my money back for what was left on my subscription, which was 678 days. Be fair.

Usually just closing and reopening OE will bring back the Anti-Spam icon. However, it will continue to disappear from time to time. It has been discussed at length on this forum and no one seems to know how to fix the problem. I would save yourself the trouble of trying any of the elaborate fixes that may be suggested - none of them seem to work.

@ Parev, I donot know how or why but you can try going to settings and to realtime protection and enable boot time protection. It worked for me and so far two days and its still there.
