It's to do with the Firefox 7 compatability update released yesterday (the one requiring a reboot). It is installed regardless of whether you have Firefox 7 or not (I don't Firefox at all but still received the update)
Thanks DarkSta. You're right!

Tony Weiss just pinned a post here in the forum stating that there's a bug in NIS 2012 causing this AutoFix message to appear. Check the version of your coFFPlgn.dll plugin (Tony provided version numbers for both NIS 2011 and NIS 2012) if you aren't sure if you have the correct FF7-compatible extensions.
Sorry, DarkSta. You must have posted the same info while I was still composing my message.

Yes, but it's the Firefox patch that introduced the error. You still got the patch with your Norton updates even if you've never had Firefox installed.

Unfortunately, even customers who don't run Firefox will see this issue. This patch gets installed on all systems that are running NIS 2012, and since the issue isn't browser-dependant, it will occur regardless of the browser installed.

Update: Issue fixed! Yay! Good job Symantec for the prompt response.
Just received a Norton Product update and the issue with support is fixed! Therefore, run LiveUpdate and recheck the issue.
