Hello,
When I try to add a site to 'Identity Safe' the system says that the submitted user-name already exists for this site.
Even though this site isn't added yet.
Any ideas how to fix this?
Greetings Nees

Welcome,
Sounds like anotheer user has visited that site before you arrived and they were bold enough to use the username you had planned to use. Hopefully you have a backup plan which will allow you to select a different username and password that are acceptable to the site. Identity safe will store anything that the site will accept.
Hope this helps

This is certainly not the case.
I'm the only one who can login to this site with this username.
Since this site has not been added to 'Identity Safe' with this username I'm puzzled how this can be.

Hi
Goto the Identity safe settings->Edit Logins->Check if the site is already added there. If it is there then delete it and try to create a new one now.

Hi
Just wanted to get a clear view: Are You getting the message while trying to add the site in the Identity safe or while trying to log in to the website the website is prompting you that already an user logged in with the username or the username is already in use?

No problem.
When I visite the site 'Identity Safe' doesn't respons.
When I manually trying to add the site, it says that the submitted user-name already exists for this site.
So it says the username is already in use.

Hi
Can you provide us the URL of that website?
In which Browser ID-safe is not autofilling?
Did you tried using other browsers that are supported by ID safe?
What is the Product version of NIS? (Support->About->Version 19.x.x.x)

The URL: http://homedir.aventus.nl
Both Internet Explorer 9 and Firefox 10 are not responding on this site.
Tried IE 9 in compatibility-mode aswell.
Product version NIS: 9.5.0.145

Nees,
Maybe my English isn't too good. I am not questioning you or the security of your computer. I am only suggesting that some other person, it could even have been me, has logged in to that site and created an account using the same name you are trying to use. I've had this happen several times and had to generate a variation of my usual username to create the account. It happens more often when you request an account and the site admin assigns usernames based on last names, I'm evans1xx on a site that I visit regularly.
