Does anyone know the problem between the subject of this email and losing the internet connection? This has been going on for 3 months and no one has an answer.

I think it has been around longer than that.  There have been a few posts about the problem but not a large number of users develop it.

So far, the only work around is to disable automatic liveupdate and update manually.  That seems to solve the disconnect.

Thanks, I'll try that. Last night after I did Liveupdate to get NIS 19.2, I immediately lost my internet connection so there has to be some relation.

The 3 months I mentioned was the length of time I have been having the problem-since I installed NIS.
