Nis 2012 19.7.1.5 will download full virus defs but can't sucessfully process updates I've tried it twice, Only smart defs, This has never happened before, plus IPS shows Norton support as remote attacker 2......Strange behavior going on, Thanks, Gorpy1

Is it still happening? They failed to install here as well at a point yesterday, but things fixed themselves.

I tried twice yesterday and both times it failed, I finally downloaded Intelligent Updater and that seemed to work except that I got no notice from either Download or File insight (pop-ups) like I usually get. There was a Download Insight in History though regarding the download of Intelligent updater and again it showed Symantec as a remote attacker, I'm going to download Malware bytes(free) just to make sure download/File insight works and run a quick scan, Thanks Bombastus,.Best.....
