Haven't had that one - The only two anomalies I've had with the startup manager dialog boxes are:

 1) The compressed list box size (as shown in my earlier post), and

 2) After checking an option on a program item in the list, applying, closing - upon re-opening, the list sort order is completely randomized and will remain so upon further supplemental closings and re-openings until the program name column header is clicked...

This is on a Windows 8 RTM/32bit testing system.

John

When I opened the startup manager, then clicked on a software in the list (which opened the file insight), then I closed the file insight screen, after then I wasn't able to close the startup manager. I had to logoff then login to close the startup manager.

Re: NIS 2013: Startup Manager

I had a online chat with a Norton Expert today, 17 October, 2012.

After allowing him remote assistance to my PC, I showed him the issue of the missing scrollbar in the Startup Manager.

After fiddling around for a while he agreed that it was a software issue and that he would report it and said it would be corrected in a Norton Update shortly.

Re: NIS 2013: Startup Manager

Same problem here on same platform.

How can one report this bug to Norton and get confirmation that the right people have received it and can fix it in an update?
