Re: NIS 22012 Identity Safe issues

Well, on Sunday I deleted the cloud database, and made sure both PC's had no links or local databases. I recreated the cloud database using a different password and reloaded my data using the merge option. I rebooted the XP machine and logged into the cloud and saw all the logins and card information as expected. I started making changes to the login info and then went to the 1st PC and signed back on and all changes were applied as expected. It works.

I don't know if you call this beta, but Norton is going to get a lot of support calls on this new feature. I still have not found much documentation on these new features of Identity Safe. Hope something will be published.

Please review this Topic for Identity Safe "published" information.

Sorry, for delay in responding.  Your piggyback message may have been missed.

identity safe will not do do login/password forms fill-in on www.bankofamerica.com

tried to use my identity safe login for www.bankofamerica.com. login info forms fill-in no longer works as of today 021912.

deleted account definition in identity safe. restarted browser.

identity safe did not prompt to identity safe to capture the new login. using IE8 on XPSP3 with all patches. Tried using chrome as a new login. norton toolbar comes up when I type in www.bankofamerica.com and do login and password fill-in but identiy safe won't capture new login.  something has changed on the site

since this is a banking site. getting this fixed means  alot.

any ideas?

This is a known issue & is being discussed here: http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Internet-Security-Norton/NIS-22012-Identity-Safe-issues/m-p/65...

See the 2nd post where it specifically mentions bank of america.

NIS 22012 Identity Safe issues

If I could just take back control of my thread for a while :smileymad:, I'm doing a lot better with Identity Safe now. The Login/Validate strip shows up dutifully if I go to a log in page and I either haven't logged in or the app has timed out. Also, provided I always use refresh on any page requiring to be auto fillled, my set of cards are always all present and correct. If I don't refresh these pages, I'm as like as not to be advised that I have no cards available. Prasanna hinted at this in a post made a week or so back so I'm guessing there's a known bug somewhere in the bowels of the code. Either way, I plan to mark this thread as solved, leaving it available to anyone who wants to hijack it again :smileyhappy:.

Meanwhile, I'll mark time on my issues regarding first time and multiple logins and open a new thread once I can cobble some evidence together.

durdle,

We'll be waiting for any and all questions you may have in  a new thread and sorry you were hijacked.  Hopefully you can undestand how that happens from time to time.  :smileywink:

I now think that my only significantly annoying issue with !dent!ty Safe is the fact that, once I have successfully completed and submitted a form, then if I bring the form up again to resubmit it, I always see '<none>' under the Fill Form drop down unless I refresh the page, in which case the Fill Form drop down will again show all my available cards. I have reported this using the Report Issue tool bar drop down option and I look forward to a resolution in due course.
