Ran updates an it update intrusion prevention and I was able to enable toolbar again.

If you're experiencing this issue, I recommend that you run LiveUpdate now to get the updated IPS definitions. This should resolve the problem for you. Please let us know if this fixes the problem for you. Thanks!

I am running windows 7 64 bit and suddenly IE8 fails to start if browser protection is running.  To get my browser to run I have to start in with no addins and reset IE8.  The failure says mshtml.dll failed.  I have run an extensive scan and it found nothing wrong.  I have had this computer for over 2 months with no problems.  I was able to surf about 1 hour ago with no issues.  Are there any fixes for this?

Dont forget to re-enable Intrusion prevention in the add-ons

Just re-ran LiveUpdate and all is fine here now on the Vista machine.  Will now go check my old XP machine.  That one was hanging up rather than crashing but same bypass worked so I assume same fix will too.
