Hi Guys.
I purchased NIS 2011 3user edition on 10 / 4 / 2012 and on installing it, NIS completed and update to 2012.
I had a new product update pop up on my screen (6/5/12), and clicked to allow it to do its thing. My laptop required restarting once down load was complete, which I did after completing the work I was doing. But on restart this time It says my product has expired... Any advise please as my details show my expire date is in 2013 ?
I have tried to reload the product key code / removed NIS and reinstalled.
Oh also I'm my account details it does say there is still 2installs remaining and is showing the very latest version is installed on my system if this helps.
Thanks Dazzling.

Welcome,
Let's try this - open NIS and click on 'subscription status' in the upper right corner after you click on 'support' . That should connect you to the Norton server and sync your computer's information with that stored at Norton. Be sure to run live update and reboot as directed until the program tells you that you have downloaded and installed all of the available updates. If any update fails to install [it does happen] just reboot and try again.
Rather than you trying to reload use the Norton Remove and Reinstall Tool found here: http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20110217171332EN it usually works better.
Stay well and surf safe

Many Thanks for your reply Dick.
I ran a live update and after running a check (Completed), Download and process updates (Not required) are shown, In the top box it does state (Subscription is Expired)... I'm not holding much hope if the main server doesn't show the same as my account expiry info... Any other avenue I can try?
Regards. Darren.

Hi Dazzling007,
It is unclear from your reply if you actually ran the Subscription Status check (Support > Subscription Status). If you have not, please do so.

Hi... I did run the Suscription Check and it came back with 0 days of subscription remaining. But in my account details for the product it states NIS expires on 11th April 2013.
Thanks again Darren.

At this point, my suggestion would be to contact Live chat, explain the situation to them and they should be able to sort out your account and the correct number of remaining days for you. I would suggest yo have your Product Key handy when you chat!
Live chat- www.norton.com/chat
Please keep us posted.

Hi Yank
Let me try once...;-)
Hi Dazzling007
Can you please make a note of your Serial Number and then go to your Norton Account and under the products tab click on the small arrow next to your Active Norton product. Now you can see your Product Key and the Serial number, please let us know the serial from the Installed Norton and the one from your account are same or different.
Serial Number from the Norton Product: Norton UI-->Support-->About.
