Thanks for your efforts, Please do not post any information regarding to your Norton product in public. I want you to check the product key in your Norton Account and in your Norton product, then please let us know whether both the serials are the same or not.

Hi Subash. Thanks for your patience in all this.
I have now checked my account and serial numbers in account, and yes your thoughts are correct the serial numbers are different.......
The NIS serial no that is showing to expire in 2013
The NIS serial number that is showing (support / about / serial No = Removed) This is my last years NIS serial number that expired in 09th April 2012, It looks as though when the update took place it reverted back to last years old settings.
How do I input all the correct NIS details to get up and running again.

Hi Subash, Sorry for the numbers, I thought it was all the info collated together was the problem not individual.... I now lived and learned !!. But yeh that has worked and seems so easy when you know how, and without your help I would have been at a loss so a thousand thanks from me..
