NIS & Windows 8- Always Logged In

The top of the NIS window says I'm always logged in, and when I hit Account I go right in.  Even when I sign out of my Norton account or close my Vault the NIS window says I'm still logged in.

It's not clear what I'm logged in to, so should I stay logged in all the time?

Re: NIS & Windows 8- Always Logged In

Hi BajaBoojum,

When you signin to your norton account during activation, you will be automatically logged into your account (which you see in top corner of the product). You can directly access Norton Account, M Web etc if you are in loggedin state. There is no need to enter your credentials again in web.

Siging out from web will not logout in product. You will be in loggedin state unless you change your account (NA) / logout in product .

This is a new feature in this release to inform user which norton account they are currently using. There is no harm if you are in loggedin state.

Kindly let us know if you need any other info.

Thanks!

Re: NIS & Windows 8- Always Logged In

If you do wish to log out for some reason, you can do so from the Identity Safe Log in window. Click on Log Out beside your account information near the bottom right of the window.

You will be promted to log back in when you go to log back into Identity safe.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Identity Safe data.
