Hi,
When I go to Windows Security Centre, Norton says the firewall is on, but when I click on Windows Firewall, it says it is off.
Also telling me that two or more firewalls running at the same time can cause conflict with each other.
If I look in 'change settings' it says WF is off.
Is this Norton just reporting that its own firewall is on, or am I missing something here?
Just need some clarification, thank you.

Hi,
NIS has a feature called the smart firewall which replaces the windows firewall. So long as everything is working as designed windows will report its firewall off and Norton will report its firewall on.

Hi Ghosty,
Do you see a red flag of any indication that you firewall is turned off on your system tray? If not meaning that your computer is protected. Usually Security Software with firewall automatically turns off the firewall of the windows, to aviod conflict with its features.

HI, Dick.
Thank you for explaining that for me, do appreciate it. :)
HI, Dred.
No, I don't see a red flag at all. Thank you for replying and helping too. :)
