Lauched Chrome, FF and IE started crashing.
When I tried to owerwrite files they staied there for a while or got no owenship. Could not open them as admin neither. Nobody owned then, so I cdould not do anything with them. Only solution was to reboot. This applied only to newly installed applications.
I did the next:
* Disabled UAC
* Ran the Norton PC check-up application
* Reinstalled Win7(x64), formatted the partition and all that
Then I installed everything back to normal. Fast crispy, evertything wnt totally fine. Then i installed NIS and the same problems got back! So I removed NIS and now everything works totally fine.
PS! Do not do speed tests or mess with your router, with your firewall turned on. The response will take ages and you'll not get the speed thats provided by your ISP.
Btw, used Ubuntu Linux 10.10 for a week, with no problems. Just to assure it wasn't my HW.
. But I want to use Win7 and the NIS I paied for.

For me it is difficult to follow and isolate what your problem is. So for example
"Lauched Chrome, FF and IE started crashing."
so what happens if you launch IE and do not launch Chrome? What error message do you receive.
What files did you try to overwrite and why? NIS is designed to protect certain system files, so we need to know more particulars.
