NIS11 direct download

I've noticed many people on the forum asked how to directly download Norton Internet Security 2011 or Norton AntiVirus 2011. I found out the following links directly download the latest version of those products.

http://www.norton.com/nav11 *Norton AntiVirus 2011*

NP. I was around on the forum since the 2009.  I remember the old guys using those links. I tweaked it about and have managed to find the direct links to those products. For later Norton Internet Security just change nis11 to nis12, etc. Same applys to Norton AntiVirus (nav11 to nav12, etc)

You can also download through the update center.

Re: NIS11 direct download

Yeah but you wouldn't get the direct product and it prompts you to uninstall/install the new products. With the links I gave it is easy to download everything in one go (Norton Removal tool) and turn off the connection.  Then I would uninstall the old product, restart, run NRT, restart, rerun NRT, seach computer for norton fragments and then reinstall the product.

Re: NIS11 direct download

If you wan to install newer product, you'll always have to uninstall the older, no matter where you've get Norton from.

Re: NIS11 direct download

Yeah but these links can be used to download the products to be used later.  Plus, I heard that running NRT after uninstallaton and before upgrade reduces the chance of errors.
